Apple’s Diversification Strategy Along with its plans to start producing its first 5G smartphones the iPhone 12 series within March quarter, Apple is making all efforts to reduce dependency on China. According to a Nikkei Asia report, the US tech giant is actively exploring opportunities in countries like Vietnam and India to increase the production of its iPhones, iPads and Macs outside of China. It is planning to slowly move its production base away from China in spite of expected improvement in the US-China relations under US President Joe Biden....

The expensive accessory is the cable that usually ships with the company’s upmarket Pro Display XDR but is now on sale separately.
