Apex Legends is Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale, which combines traditional survival aspects of the battle royale genre with the abilities of hero shooters, like Overwatch. Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse was launched at the beginning of the month. It added a new Broken Moon map and a new Legend to the game. The newly added defensive Legend, Catalyst, has a tactical ability Piercing Spikes, a passive ability Barricade, and the ultimate ability Dark Veil....

Unfortunately, with any new major season update of a multiplayer game like Apex Legends, there are bound to be issues and glitches that crop up for the first few weeks. Now, another issue, which the development team at Respawn has publicly acknowledged, has surfaced surrounding Apex Legends’ defensive character Wattson that could severely limit her combat abilities. News of the Apex Legends connection issues first started early Saturday morning and persisted throughout the afternoon. Players getting dropped from matches and an inability to connect to a lobby are the most prominent issues that seem to be affecting Apex Legends right now. Granted, not everyone is seeing these issues; plenty of players are able to get online right now. While Respawn has yet to discuss what could be causing the issues, it’s likely a byproduct of Apex Legends’ popularity....

In addition to lore and characters, Apex Legends fans are also waiting for certain mechanics from Titanfall to make their way over to this popular battle royale as well. While Respawn has already shot down the idea of bringing Titans into the game due to throwing the balance off, fans have constantly requested another popular Titanfall staple. Wall running is a major component of Titanfall’s fast paced mobility, though it’s curiously absent in Apex Legends....

With the addition of a new weapon and a couple more hop-ups, the loot pool has been affected quite a bit, with fan favorites such as the Peacekeeper returning as ground loot. TikTok user @studyvlogloz, who goes by Lauren Rebecca online, first shared her diagnosis in a video that was viewed more than 117,000 times in late December 2021. In early February, she posted a video viewed nearly 40,000 times where she said that her Apple Watch was keeping track of her health information. However, Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment has been well aware of this and recently pushed an intended fix for these issues. Along with a few other fixes (such as Gibraltar’s shield being able to absorb more damage), both Gibraltar and Caustic received a new passive ability known as Fortified. This was intended to give each character a universal, passive 10% damage reduction, but instead of reducing the damage, it is simply mitigating it elsewhere....

It came to a point where everyone expected the game to replace Fortnite as the king of Battle Royale. Although it was a very far fetched assumption many believed that the game really had what it takes to be at the top. Not only is Wattson being buffed in Apex Legends, but the noted changes are likely to make her shoot up in the meta. The belief that the crossover will involve both the Alien and Predator franchises depends on a bit of investigation within the community, as there’s no obvious evidence of a crossover. There’s no Alien or Predator skin, for example. However, what has been datamined does seem persuasive. There are five skins that have been found, one for Gibraltar and four weapon skins. The Gibraltar skin gives him an extremely pale complexion, as well as dull gray armor, which is assumed to be a nod to the Prometheus spin-offs of the Alien franchise....

Recently, one gamer by the name of euSoccerGirl on Reddit proposed a new way to improve gear in Apex Legends. Specifically, their concept dealt with upgrading backpacks through the use of Replicators scattered across Kings Canyon, World’s Edge, Olympus, and Storm Point.
