As with many past phones, it’ll come in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB size variants and three colors: black, white, and red. The latter color is the result of Apple’s (RED) partnership, and 100% of sales for this color will go to HIV/AIDS programs. The phone’s starting price is $399, making it far cheaper than the iPhone 11, and incrementally increasing based on storage size. Pre-orders will go live at 5 AM PT on Friday, April 17, with the Apple Store and more having the phone available for purchase or pick up on Friday, April 24.
The phone is dust and water resistant, the latter being up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The display’s True Tone adjusts white balance based on light, complete with “incredibly color accuracy” and Dolby Vision and HDR10, perfect for gaming on mobile and more. It also makes use of Haptic touch for Quick actions. For full details on the new phone, click here.
