First revealed in October this year, Catalyst is Apex Legends’ first trans character. Classified as a defensive Legend, she uses black ferrofluid to barricade doors, place spikes, and put up a massive wall to slow down enemies. Along with Catalyst, Apex Legends Season 15 also introduced Broken Moon, a map located in Boreas’ biggest moon, Cleo, and new features like gifting and stickers.

Recently, Apex Legends debuted a new Catalyst skin via its first Prime Gaming bundle of Season 15 called the “Catalyst Natural Essence Bundle.” The Natural Essence skin shows Catalyst sporting an autumn-inspired look with yellow, green, and orange hair, while her outfit has leaf and bark designs to resemble a tree. To go with this, the bundle has an Autumn Winds banner frame with orange leaves on it. Also included is the Gem Shredder skin for the Alternator. It has a mosaic design with purple and teal colors. The colorway is also similar to the crystals Catalyst uses at the start of “Stories from the Outlands: Last Hope.”

Natural Essence is the 43rd cosmetic skin for Catalyst. Based on the initial reactions, there’s a chance that this will be one of the most popular Catalyst skins so far. It will rival her Apex Legends battle pass skin Archon, which is a vibrant blue outfit with gold accents, and gradient purple and pink hair color for the Legend.

Since her release, casual and pro players alike have been trying out Catalyst, and discovering synergies with different Legends. It came to a point where they found a glitch in Apex Legends that allowed Rampart to shoot her mini gun through an ally Catalyst’s ferrofluid barricade without getting injured from the outside. Apart from new cosmetics, players could definitely expect some fixes for Catalyst and the other Legends.

Apex Legends is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
