Recently, a YouTuber known as shomaru 7 discovered a way to make Fuse’s Motherlode much better in battle. In a video shared on Twitter, the gamer shot his Fuse Ultimate into the air and remarkably created a much larger radius of fire than should normally occur. Using this larger area of detection caused by the ring, shomaru 7 could locate the opponents on the enemy team through the walls of a nearby building. As a result, he was able to get the upper hand in the fight.

In addition to this clip from shomaru 7, another video by YouTuber Skeptation brokedown how to perform the Ultimate trick in Apex Legends. According to the tutorial, players need to start by launching a grenade into the sky above themselves. After doing this, they must quickly shoot Fuse’s Motherlode in the same upwards direction as the grenade. If executed correctly, this will cause the radius of the ring of fire to increase substantially and allow enemies to be tracked in a much larger area.
This new trick for using Fuse’s Ultimate caught the attention of the Apex Legends community. For example, the comments section for Skeptation’s tutorial video was filled with players wanting to try the enhanced Motherlode out in battle. Unfortunately, some believed that it would likely be removed in the near future. However, others thought that the trick should be allowed to stay, arguing that the increased range of wallhacks was countered by the reduced effectiveness of the perimeter fire.
It is exciting to see players discover new tricks in Apex Legends. While this Ultimate exploit for Fuse doubtlessly increases the effectiveness of his wallhacks, it might prove to be too powerful. It will be interesting to see if the character’s pick rate increases and whether the developers at Respawn Entertainment look to patch this out of the game in the coming days. However, until that happens, this is definitely a trick that Fuse mains will want to try out in the battle royale.
Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
